Second Quarter’s Attitude of Gratitude
Our motto for 2017 is Attitude of Gratitude. As part of this program each quarter we are picking one employee and their local ‘Community Cause’ to support. Second quarter, Jennifer Cortez was chosen and she picked the Wood River Volley Ball Club to support.
Jennifer says, “I chose Wood River Volleyball Club because of how much volleyball meant to me as a kid growing up in this valley. Club sports give kids great skills and extra experience to advance in a sport they love. But, the cost associated with the club can be difficult for a lot of families. It certainly was for my parents. I’m glad we have the opportunity to help the organization raise money to make it financially available to as many kids as possible.”
Wood River Volleyball Club provides young women, ages 10-18, with the opportunity for growth and advancement in the sport of volleyball. WRVBC provides hands on coaching, teaching camps, tournaments, and competition for those who love the sport as much as we do. WRVBC’s mission is to impress life skills as well as volleyball skills into the young women of our valley by sharing the passion that we have for this life and the sport of volleyball.
