Meet Mark Balcos

We would like to introduce our new Chairman of Wood River Insurance,
Mark Balcos.

After living in Seattle and working in insurance for 26 years, Mark began to look for a change of environment for himself and his family. Past visits to Sun Valley sparked a desire to take advantage of everything the Wood River Valley had to offer.

Soon after deciding that moving to the Valley was definitely in his plans; Mark sold his insurance agency, Balcos Insurance. And the timing was perfect to step on board at Wood River Insurance. Greg Bloomfield will remain as President of the company and Mark Balcos has taken over as Chairman.

Mark and his wife, Margie, plus three of their six children made the move from Seattle to Bellevue Farms. They are all looking forward to establishing themselves and their family in this wonderful community.

Mark is extremely excited about his long-term commitment to this agency, its staff, and the community. We know you will enjoy working with him as much as we do!
